Our very first blogpost in 2k18 and the first one in months since we have been inactive on the blog for some time now. But this is going to change now because all our energy and motivation is refilled after the time off during Christmas and NYE. This time with family and friends and nearly no social media was much needed! We spent the Christmas holidays in our hometown in „Saarland“, it’s a very small German state at the French border. So France is just around the corner and we planned a little trip during Christmas to Strasbourg which is less than 2 hours away. Strasbourg is such a pretty place, also in summer. But, when it’s Christmas Time and the „Marché de Noêl“ opens its doors, the city turns into a real Winter Wonderland. The decoration ist just too pretty, you can see little bears and presents hanging on the houses or funny penguins and the Christmas market goes through lots ot tiny streets down to the river. It’s really amazing, we were stunned by the beauty and cuteness of this city. So we can only recommend you going there some time, especially in Winter 🙂 And as you see: you don’t have to go to the biggest metropole, sometimes it’s the cute little towns that inspire you the most with their charme. We hope you guys like this post. Happy new Year xx Su & Chris
