Our Stay at the Grand Pigalle Hotel Paris.

DE: Verliebt haben wir uns in das Grand Pigalle Hotel Paris in der ersten Sekunde, als wir online für unseren kurzen Trip in die französische Hauptstadt die passende Bleibe suchten. Das Design, die Einrichtung, die Deko – einfach nur wow und on point! Die Freude auf das Hotel war also schon im Vorfeld riesig und wir konnten unser Glück kaum glauben, als wir beim Check In tatsächlich ein Upgrade bekamen! Und zwar auf eines der größten Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk mit atemberaubendem Blick über Montmatre inklusive Blick auf die Basilika Sacré-Coeur. Wahnsinn! Dieser Ausblick enttäuschte uns wahrlich nicht, er war tagsüber und abends schon wunderschön! Aber am Morgen mit rosa gefärbtem Himmel sah es aus wie aus dem Bilderbuch! Sogar das Foto, was wir glücklicherweise für euch gemacht haben, sieht aus wie gemalt. Ein absoluter Traum, so morgens wach zu werden. Geweckt wird man vom Duft frisch gebackener Croissants, der einen nahezu aus dem Bett wirft und einen nach unten zum Frühstück lockt. Und was sollen wir zu diesem Frühstück sagen, schaut euch die Bilder an, es war einfach nur das perfekte französische petit-dejeuner! Die Croissants waren noch leicht warm und frisch und hatten eben diesen echt französischen Geschmack! Hier kann man uns nichts vormachen, denn wir haben jahrelang direkt an der französischen Grenze gelebt und sind was frische französische Croissants angeht verwöhnt 🙂 Also wenn wir sagen, sie waren sehr gut, waren sie auch sehr gut 😀 Dazu perfekt aufgeschütteter Kaffee, leckere Tartes, Baguette, Obst, Müsli und Granola. Wir waren wunschlos glücklich. Das Frühstück wird unten im Restaurant serviert, was wie alle Räume im Hotel super stilvoll eingerichtet ist. Leder- und Samtsessel laden hier zum Verweilen ein. Aber jetzt natürlich nochmal zurück zu unserem wundervollen Zimmer. Wir stehen eigentlich so gar nicht mehr auf Leoparden Muster, aber als wir den coolen Leo Teppich in unserem Zimmer sahen, fanden wir es ganz schön niice 🙂 Das Badezimmer war direkt links neben der Tür und zog direkt unseren Blick auf sich. Dunkelgrüne Fliesen an der Wand, goldenen Details, Marmor und dieser Muster-Boden. Jap, we like! Und auch das Zimmer mit all den coolen Details, wie dem weißen Retro Telefon, die stylische Minibar, das coole Sofa und natürlich das Bett vor der grandiosen Tapete. Wir feierten es so richtig, als wir dazu im Radio noch französischen Hip Hop hörten 😀 Ein riesen Pluspunkt ist natürlich auch die direkte Nähe zur U Bahn Station Pigalle, die nur 100m entfernt ist! Moulin Rouge ist 550m enfernt und Sacré-Coeur auch nur 800m. Was möchte man mehr? Wir waren wirklich mehr als happy im Grand Pigalle und werden dort nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein, das steht fest 🙂 Wir hoffen, euch hat dieser Post gefallen und wünschen euch jetzt viel Spaß mit den Fotos bzw der Bilderflut (sorry!) xx Su & Chris

EN: We fell in love with the Grand Pigalle Hotel right from the beginning when we were looking for a nice hotel to stay at during our short trip to Paris. The design, the furniture, the decoration – just wow and absolutely on point! Hence the excitement level was really high and we couldn’t believe that we got an upgrade as we checked in! We got one of the biggest rooms on the upper floor with a breathtaking view over Montmatre and the basilica Sacré-Coeur. Insane! This view did not disappoint us at all. During the day and in the evening it already was beyond beautiful, but in the morning with pink sky it literally looked liked from the storybook! Even the photo we luckily took for you guys looks like it was painted! Waking up to this was simply amazing! You are woken up by the smell of freshly baken croissants which literally pushes you out of bed and lures you downstairs to breakfast. And well, what can we say, it was indeed the perfect french petit-dejeuner. The croissants were still warm and fresh and well they had the typical french taste. This is something you can’t fool us with since we have lived near the french border for so many years, so we are definitely spoiled when it comes to fresh french croissants. So we can insure you that they were really good 🙂 The breakfast is served in the restaurant which is like all other rooms perfectly arranged. Leather and velvet chairs invite you to stay. But now, back to our wonderful hotel room. We’re actually not that into leo print anymore but when we saw this cool leo carpet in our room we found it quite nice 🙂 The bathroom was located next to the door so it directly attracted our attention. Dark green tiles on the wall, golden details, marble and the pattern on the floor!  Yees, we like!! And also the main room with all those pretty little details like the white retro telephone, the stylish minibar, the cool sofa and the bed in front of this terrific wallpaper. Then we also turned on the radio to listen to some french hip hop, super nice 😀 A real asset is also the proximity to the metro station Pigalle, which is only 100m away. The Moulin Rouge is 500m away and Sacré-Coeur 800m. What else could you ask for? We were more than happy with our stay at the Grand Pigalle and will definitely come back again.
